This is a family run restraunt attatched to their home. They serve the best empanadas they call them pastellios. They are filled with your choice of fish, crab, lobster, shark, rabbit. Well those were my favorites. There were others but those were the ones I remember most. This is a local hang out where people like to stay late and drink and visit during the warm caribbean nights. They are open for lunch through dinner. The prices are very good and the food is fresh and made with love. You will not be disappointed. They have had the business for years and I brought home some empanadas and all my friends loved them!!! They were devoured. There is a slot machine in the restraunt. I think they may have two now. It is just about two short blocks from the ocean a very easy walk. I will post the photos of the beach it is just blocks away from. You will have fun looking for huge iguanas they are all over that area. You will also love listening to the coqui frogs at night as you sit outside in the semi open but covered restraunt area. It is a covered patio dining area. It isn't fancy it is authentic and delicious and a very happy place.

Favorite Dish: The pastellios. The empanadas (pastellios) have a pastry shell stuffed with various forms of meat. It is fried in oil. The pastry shell is very good and the meat inside is amazing and good quality. It is something easy to try in a new environment nothing too unusual. It isn't intimidating. I have gone to a lot of countries and I like feeling safe about trying the food in a new place. I don't want anything too unusual at first. Yet I want to experience the local food. This is a great way to ease into the Puerto Rican diet. I liked the rabbit dish too. I don't know what it was called it was cooked with potato and tomato sauce and it was really delicious. Anything they serve will be well cooked and good quality. Be sure to stop here for really good local style food. If they have mandango you should try it there. Plantains mashed served with seafood and great sauces to try with it. When you feel more adventurous.
