A mid size casino with air conditioning & soft music. Pleasant atmosphere. There are waiters & waiteress always walking around to provide food & drinks. Tip: If you park you car in the Hotel Parking you can get your ticket stamped and your parking is free. Casual, No sneakers.
Nightlife spots include the Hilton Hotel & Casino.They have great food, dancing & gambling. Nice place to take a walk on the beach or dance the night away to the sounds of great local bands. Another spot is 'Hollywood Cafe', it's a movie & 80's music style kind of place. You can watch a movie, drink, play pool, dance and talk with friends or locals. They speak English in these locations. But it won't hurt to learn a few words before going out.In the center of Ponce (Ponce centro) alot of clubs & bars are packed together so you can walk from one to another with ease. Dress code is casual.
At night we strolled along the boardwalk by the Ponce Yacht and Fishing Club. There were several outdoor gathering spots where you could get a drink or dance to latin rhythms. There were also artisans selling jewelry & T-shirts, as well as an antique auto show in the parking lot. I saw people wearing jeans as well as people wearing sequins.

Q: Is it safe to drink the water?
A: Drank only bottled water, but did get drinks with ice cubes. No problems in 3 visits!
