Local traditions and culture in San German

Population of 34,962 with an area of 140 Km2. Driving time to San Juan about 2.1 hours. Neighboring towns of Mayaquez and Maricao to the North, Lajas to the South, Sabana Grande to the East and Hormigueros and Cabo Rojo to the West.

Patron Saint - San German de Auserre, the Patron Saint festival is held every July for one week.

Places of interest are Porta Coeli Museum, Ramirez de Arrellano y Rossel Art Museum, Puente de Bolas, Ceiba de la Libertad.
