Ajili Mojili is an upper crust Puerto Rican restaurant that serves a variety of local dishes which have never failed to satisy everyone I have ever been there with. Occasionally the menu varies, for example around Christmas time when they serve up the pasteles. I love these with lechon asado and of course rice and beans. Another favorite (though not mine!) is the morcilla (blood sausage).
The ambience is busy, the tables close due to its smallish size but I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to taste the flavors of Puerto Rico.
Favorite Dish: Lechon asado, pasteles.

AJILII-MOJILI is a good restaurant near the sea, but you will find lot of restaurants in San Juan and in the country along the sea. try to avoid the fast food , it is like in NYC (fast food, long line, no very good food, too sweet)...you must taste the local food (mofongo with fish).
My point of view: the chef is not a great french chef, for he is not very good for the sauce and dressing (I am sorry !)
Favorite Dish: sea food, caribean paela, salads and fruits.
