We had a very enjoyable visit to Old San Juan. We saw both forts, El Morro and San Cristobal, as well as the Cathederal. We also enjoyed walking through the narrow streets of the shopping district.

Visit one of the forts for great views of the city. There is a fee for the forts. Be prepared to climb up stairs.

You can't help but admire the tapestry of colors painted on the buildings of Old San Juan. Even more interesting are the balconies - look at the intricate iron work / wood work.
