Old Navy Base - The whole West End of the island used to be used as an ammo storage facility for the Navy. All the ammo has been removed, the land given back to the Vieques Govenment, but remnants still remain. Here's a photo of one of the storage bunkers that can be found thoughout the old base.

The west side of this mile long pier serves as a great site to see lots of fish. The water tends to be calmer compared to other beaches on the island.

Drive around the island! You'll see lots of 'wild' horses. They don't look very wild, just not owned by anyone!
