Don't forget the sunscreen
by kyoub
Bring along a beach bag for the days that you will be spending on the beach.
Lightweight summer clothing, smart casual. Pretty sandals, swimsuit, and hat.
Sunscreen and everything else that you can't be without.
Camera and all the accessories.
Be sure and wear protective lenses to keep the sun out of your eyes.
Mosquito Repellent & Sunscreen it's expensive.

Pack lightly, small airplanes have weight restrictions.
Simple clothes, but not just bathing suits. You'll want something "smart casual" for dinner though.
Bring the things you know and trust, there are two pharmacies on Nevis but supplies are limited.
If you're planning on snorkeling, an underwater camera would be great. Film is expensive, varities of batteries may be hard to find.
Most hotels provide beach towels, just be sure to ask before you pack.
Remember that Nevis is a small island, everything has to be flown in or delivered by boat. You're probably not going to find your favorite brands.

Bug repellent, meat tenderizer, and sunscreen.
I wouldn't recommend getting your hair braided into corn rows the first day you are there! I did this and then got the terrible sunburn on the scalp. . NOT FUN! Wait at least 2-3 days until your scalp has had time to get used to the immense rays of the sun.

Pack light...it's an island...It's hot...what do you do when it's hot...take your clothes off...so don't bring many.
Resort
Tums, Alka-Seltzer, Malanta, Tylenol, and lots of cocoa butter........
Bring a cheapo underwater camera. Lots to see, fishees, squid, eagle rays.
You can take all the stuff from the hotel for your beach outings with exception of a cheap styrofoam cooler and ice you can buy down the street at the store, which also sells liquor.

if you get injured there, you have to pay the hospital.
bring tons of film, because i thought i would only need one but came home with three.
the beach is the # one place to go.
snorkling is popular, so bring some snorkling equipment if you have any, if not, you can rent. but it's pricey.
