Water and Beach
by grandmaR
Apparently St. Kitts has lots of different beaches (black, grey and golden sand to pick from) and water sports available. We didn't actually participate in any but it did look like there were some areas where you could surf and the websites advertise that in addition to surfing, they have kayaking, water skiing, wind surfing and jet skiing. We also saw a marina near the cruise ship docks
Required gear can be rented and/ or purchased directly on the beach and from various water sports shops. For a beach day, pack sun glasses, sun screen, and a cooler with ice, abd drinks.

Zip Line through the rain forest canopy
by m1nkey
For a sincere rush, you should try the Sky Trek zip line tours. They have five different runs ranging from kid stuff to heart stopping exhilaration. Three, long rides criss-cross the Black river deep in the rain forest. One is 250 feet from the forest floor and another lasts fifteen seconds. The scenery is amazing and aside from the zip line, you also get a close look at the primeval rain forest. If you like thrills then this if definitely one you will want to take.

Mountain biking Nevis
by maike_globevoyager
Nevis, a beautiful island excellent for mountain biking, with many natural trails or trails from the sugar industry. There is lots of fun for everybody: the beginner, advanced and the hardcore biker. You go on a tour with an experienced guide: going up hills, having stunning views, getting information about the area, take a refreshement and some good down hills. The level of the tour is based on your personal wishes and physical ability. The company also provides ocean kayak tours/rentals and windsurf lessons/rentals.
The bike, a water bottle and a guide are included in the tour.Wear closed shoes, absolute no sandals or flip flaps! running shoes are good. a t-shirt and a short will do. bring your camera.
A Beach for Every Taste
by Stephen-KarenConn
White sand, black sand, gray sand - you name it - St. Kitts has it all. The black sand beaches reminded me of some I have seen in Hawaii. More than most Caribbean islands, St. Kitts reminds many visitors of the South Pacific. It is obviously a volcanic island, with a rain forest in the highlands, and an abundance of fresh water streams. As we toured the coastline of St. Kitts I saw numerous small secluded beaches where not a living soul was in sight. These seemed to be the perfect setting for adventure - or romance. There are more developed beaches too, such as Frigate Bay, which offers a variety of water sports. For more seclusion with limited facilities, South Friar's Bay and Turtle Beach are recommended. There's a beach for every taste on St. Kitts.

Qualie Bay is a very nice bay and that is where Qualie Beach Club is located. There is a small hotel, restaurant, and Scuba safari.
