We walked past the old Treasury Building from 1894, which now houses a museum. The museum entrance fee was $2, but we didn't go in. Perhaps I should have.

You can buy a trail map at the Golden Rock Estate and take a walk through the bush. We saw several birds and lizards. It is a good place to see large banana trees also.

The clothes at the factory are not cheap. Best to just look around and then go outside and bask in the rays in the beautiful garden.

Here's another view from the top of the fortress. St. Kitts was so beautiful. We really enjoyed our visit. The locals were pretty nice, too.

Turtle Beach's best feature may be the stunning sight of sister island Nevis just across the channel, its volcanic peak halo-ed by clouds. At sunset it was simply beautiful!
