This resturant is one of the best places to eat, again maybe for the special night out as it is also more expensive than most... but the food is fantastic and they have nightly live bands, kettle drums etc, great atmostsphere right on the water... Dress was nice, and it was full so expect a wait unless you have reservations.... Again sorry for no pictues, late at night and did not bring camera...
i had a fish dinner, i think king fish again.. my wife had lobster,a little different than maine lobster, but still very good.... Mmmm fruit! by jessicadf So you go to an all inclusive resort -- do you really expect the food to be great? Good, yes. Plentiful, yes. But great? Wellll.... probably not, right? Well you know what? The food at this buffet was consistently GREAT at every meal! One of my favorite things was fresh fruit for breakfast (note that I only saw the locals eating fresh fruit for breakfast).
They made excellent cole slaw. That wasn't my favorite thing there, but it's good to note because I RARELY like cole slaw, yet I had theirs with my salad every day. :-) Leave a Comment Theme: BuffetAddress: Rendezvous Resort, Malabar Beach

Dessert at L'EPICURE restaurant by LisaMJ Charthouse is located in Rodney Bay, a 5 min walk from our hotel - Royal St Lucian. It's all dark woods, decking, with a wonderful frontage onto the waters of Rodney Bay. Ask for a waterside table, and all you'll see is the water lapping close by, and the twinkling lights of boats and houses in the distance. We both had the steak - which was the best we tasted on St Lucia. Service was second to none, and we visited this restaurant 3 times during our stay - it was that good.
Steak steak steak! And the key lime pie for dessert was pretty good too! Leave a Comment Theme: SteakhousePrice: US$41 and up » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averageAddress: Rodney Bay restaurant area

Dinner on Reduit Beach by LisaMJ We stayed at the Royal St Lucian. Within the hotel are 2 restaurants, one is called Chic, and the other L'Epicure if I remember rightly. On our first night we dined at Chic - an exquisite experience! Upon arrival you are offered a complimentary glass of Tattinger, while you peruse the menu on comfy sofas and chairs. They take you order while you enjoy the surroundings, and then call you into the eating area when your food is ready. The surroundings are fantastic, brown and beige linens, clean lines, contemporary art on the walls - very non- Caribbean, but it's an experience. Expensive, yes, but a must do for an extra special meal. L'EPICURE - this restaurant is larger, with an outside walled terrace area, and under cover terrace area, and also a beach deck area - approximately 20' x 20', with only a few tables on it. The service was efficient and friendly. We were the only people dining on the beach deck, and so the waiter and maitre'D asked if we wanted to dine on the sand. Between them they carried to table, chairs, candles, condiments drinks etc on to the sand for us - our own private restaurant under the stars as shown in the picture.
CHIC: To start, I had a goats cheese tartlet, with black olives, vine tomatoes, with a balsamic dressing, and my husband had the pumpkin soup. For main course, my husband had the duck. A wonderful cut of meat. I had pumpkin risotto, in a curry foam. Delicious! L'EPICURE - We both started with pumpkin soup. By coincidence, in the weekly newsletter, the hotel included the recipe. We tried it at home, and have managed to perfect it to the standard of the Caribbean - and it's delicious!! We then both had the Chicken. It came with a fluffy mash, fried plantain, and okra, all in a wonderful, balsamic style sauce. Fantastic desserts too, picture shown on the other restaurant page for 'Charthouse'. Lunch with a view. (And a pool too.) by maartenw The restaurant is located uphill near the east coast of St.Lucia and is one of the best on the island. From the large verandah/balcony there are stunning views over the lush surroundings, the Atlantic, Praslin bay and the Frigate Islands. The food is delicious, meals are copious, the service is crisp, the atmoshere informal and friendly. Cute details: dogs napping on the verandah stairs, the hummingbird feeder, the swimming pool. (To be honest: we intended to have lunch in the Dasheen restaurant at the famous Ladera resort, but since that place is losing its reputation rapidly several people dissuaded us that choice and we were easily persuaded to try the Fox Grove Inn instead. We were not disapointed at all.)
The garlic soup (with cheese) is unsurpassed and worth a detour itself! Lots of salads, also as main dish. I'd recommend the Surf & Turf Salad (with Kingfish and duck). The Chart House resturant , located across from the Rex hotel has wonderful food and a great atmostsphere... We ate in the green house section right on the water....very nice... the food was great and we enjoyed everything... It tends to be expensive, especially if your bringing the family....

La Piazza is the outside more casual terrace area next to Capones restaurant. We thought it actually belonged to Capones, and when we entered saying we wanted to sit outside, we were led to La Piazza. La Piazza is an Italian/Pizza restaurant in Rodney Bay. Everything is all still table service and an extensive menu, but it is more for a slightly less formal dinner. We would usually go fo a large pizza between us, (a good 15" in diameter) and a bottle of house red. The pizza was very good, cooked perfectly the 3 times we went there. We would finish with perhaps a chescake, or key lime pie. Both of which were fantastic. On another note, we would have an after dinner cocktail, and this place served the best Mai Tais in St Lucia :-) Usually about U$40 for the two of - relatively cheap in comparison to the other places we ate.

by EileenK516 We ate lunch at Ladera Resort located in Soufriere, St. Lucia. The food was excellent (see more info on this restaurant in my Must-See Activities page. This picture is of me, my boyfriend Bob and our cab driver/tour guide Eso, overlooking the grand piton on the left and the petite piton on the right. It was taken from the balcony of the open air restaurant bar area. Leave a Comment

Eales Inn by gcmm the Eagles Inn resturant located on the water way in rodney bay, was a good basic place to eat.. The food was excellent as was all the food that we had in saint lucia... The saint lucian resturants tend to use garlic alot, which is o.k by me as i like it... but if you don't you might want to ask about it... The inn served all kinds of sea food dinners with the specials of the day being local catch, most of the time it was king fish, very good..... Also they don't skimp....
i had the catch of the day, King fish... it was fresh and very good... Leave a Comment Theme: LocalPrice: US$11-20 » Currency ConverterComparison: about averageDirections: rodney Bay
