This is NOT in Freeport City. It is in Lucaya Marketplace.
On our previous visit this restaurant was being remodeled. It is upstairs over another restaurant. This time, we ate here when we were both groggy from being up for 36 hours. We were early for dinner and could sit on the rail and look out at the harbor and marina.
Favorite Dish:
The service was a little slow, and the food was ordinary. I can't remember what we had to eat. However it was quite reasonably cheap- $32.50 for two including tip.
Frommers says: "Today the place, which used to cater mainly to locals, has gone touristy, but much of the same traditional fare is still served ...There are usually at least eight kinds of game fish, including both wahoo and Cajun blackened kingfish, plus curried chicken, mutton, or beef. Bahamian-style shark soup, made from the flesh of hammerheads ("little tender ones," according to the chef), is sometimes featured on the menu."
Really nice outdoor seating overlooking a harbor
Favorite Dish:
Cracked Conch (pronounced crack conk) it's the animal that lives inside conch shells with a taste between (I'm not kidding) fried okra and chicken, but chewier
