Favorite thing: While on the island rember if you are driving stay to the left. We are from the USA so we are use to driving on the right, it's not had to get use to but navigating a turn can make you feel like you are doing it wrong! This is a great island to learn how to drive on the left because there wasn't very much traffic when we went. You could drive for ten minute before you saw another car. So take you time and you will be just fine, besides the highest speed limit we saw was only 45 miles an hour.

Favorite thing: There is a good internet cafe right in the Lucaya marketplace. You can log onto the internet either with your computer or theirs for $10/day or $30/wk. Or if you aren't sending long emails, you can also log on for 4 min for $5, and $2 for additional 5 minutes.

Favorite thing: The city that most people know on Grand Bahama is Freeport. The airport is called the Freeport airport. But Freeport is not a tourist destination. Lucaya is one of the primary tourist destinations on the island, although there are hotels at other places.
Fondest memory: Going to the marketplace for dinner and listening to the band in the main square or shopping.
