The Pub at Port Lucaya: Restaurant with a view
While roaming around the Market we got hungry and stopped in here. The food was pretty good, prices about average, the view was great, people were friendly but the service was OK at best, but all in all not a bad place to eat. This place was rather busy, we thought it kind of suprising for Christmas time. We would eat here again, the food range was from Jamaican to Bahemian to local American, Terry had the jerk chicken, I had nachos, bill came to about $25.
The Pub at Lucaya: Downstairs from the Fat Man's Nephew
Was named Pusser's Pub (underneath the Fat Man's Nephew on Count Basie Square.). I had chicken pot pie, and we had ice cream for dessert. The ice creams were $4 @. We sat and listened to the music (loud) and watched the little kids and one local guy who had great moves dancing.
Favorite Dish: Frommers says: "You can order predictable pub grub such as shepherd's pie or steak-and-ale pie. Juicy American-style burgers are another lure. But you can also dine on substantial Bahamian fare at night, especially Bahamian lobster tail, cracked conch, or the fresh grilled catch of the day."
