Our day on the beach of Eleuthera was wonderful. We arrived via cruise ship; Emerald Princess to this lovely stretch of beach. The beach area was a large stretch of sand with plenty of beach chairs dotted along the water's edge.
My husband and I found a set of chairs on a little cove area of the beach. It was far enough away from the large crowd of water sports enthusiasts and the small children to provide some e peace and quiet. The weather was balmy in the mid 80's with sun dipping in and out of the clouds. It was a perfect day to lounge on the beach without feeling oppressively hot or beaten up by the sun.
The water was fabulous; warm as a bath. This was my first time at the beach since I learned to swim and I took full advantage of it. I swam around like Nemo for hours until my husband lured me out with a frozen Margarita.
It was a wonderful day, fun yet relaxing and I can't wait to return.

The sunset when we were getting ready to leave Eleuthera were absolutely beautiful. The sky had various blues, pinks and yellows. Liz and I enjoyed walking around on deck and seeing the kaleidoscope of colors.

There were several outdoor shower areas on Princess Cays to rinse off after a dip in the water. The water is very salty and its good to get some of that salt off to feel clean when lounging on the beach.

On the Island there are several fruit carving demonstrations happening right before the BBQ buffet opens. It is always fascinating to watch them quickly cut up fruit to make beautiful pictures and shapes.

One of the things we love about these private islands is the drink service on the beach. There is nothing better than relaxing on a lounge chair with a frosty drink in hand surrounded by beautiful sand and water. The Frozen Margaritas on the island were very good and the perfect drink to sip in the beautiful warm weather.

When visiting an island destination my first thought is just to lounge out and be lazy; I did just that on Princess Cay. Relxing on the lounge chair enjoying some frozen Margaritas with Liz was perfect; especially with such a beautiful view.

The tender boats of the cruise ship drop and pick up passengers at the Love Boat Marina. The Marina is the hub of activity with an island band playing music, water sports desk and a large map of the island and its attractions.

Princess Cays has beautiful, calm blue water that are perfect for swimming. The calm waters made it perfect for people with young children to enjoy the water. The water temperature is warm like bathwater....just jump in. Liz spent some serious time swimming around and floating in the water; it was her first time swimming in the ocean (she just learned to swim).
The bottom of the water had several rocks that were jagged or slippery so I would suggest some water shoes when swimming or venturing into the water. Liz did cut her foot on a rock because she didn't want to wear her water shoes.

Pelican's Perch was the childrens playground area of Princess Cays. Our cruise had very little children onboard so we only saw three or four kids playing here.

Q: Hello, Can you give me any suggestion where to say between this 2 place? - Governors Harbour? - Tarpum Bay? Which one do you...
A: Governors Harbour. Has small town there with market, restaurants, etc. Very friendly people. Beautiful area. Houses for rent there also in addition to small hotels.
