One quick thing you'll notice about Harbour Island is the outrageous price of food, beer, and cigarettes. Buy your cigarettes in the US or at home before you come. Beer is also expensive - if you can, buy a case before you leave from home and pack it. However, bottles of liquor are reasonably priced, especially run. You'll find a few liquor stores on the main strip downtown.As for food, save money and buy groceries at the Piggly Wiggly. Yes, they'll be more expensive than if you had bought them at home, but you'll save so much more money.
