What night life? Yeah--there are some restaurants/bars--but the natives keep weird business hours. If they decide to close, they close. Radio ahead for their business hours
Alcohol is cheap. Stop at the liquor store and bring it back to your place.
There is no public transport on Abaco. You must use a taxi or rent a car.

Radio ahead for their business hours, the locals can keep weird hours and close when they feel like it. We missed getting groceries the first night, and both restaurants on the island closed...it was 8pm.

Luggage and bags: The cottage landlords give a good list on what to bring. But, I would suggest packing in a plastic storage bin your clothes and food. On our first attempt to the cottage, our suitcases got soiled. Noticed a couple checking in days later with bins...thought...great idea!
Out of the main stream. Fantastic village. No cars, lots of water and few people. We rented houses and boats. the sailing is phenominal, but my fondest memory is of "rent a dog." This loving retriever "rented" us for our entire stay. He was a wonderful companion to all our adventures.more
RENT A BOAT!! We stayed in Lubbers Quarters Cay in the ABACOS. We rented a boat for the week and visit the all the Cays around the area. We went to the 7th most Beautiful Beach in the World on Treasure Cay! The ocean! It was clear and so blue. You can see starfish clear as day. We had a barracuda that hung out at our dock.
