Most people that come to Marsh Harbour come to dock their yacht and move onto the keys which is bad mistake because Marsh Harbour is a relaxed place that has some great restaurants and places to stay. The outer keys charge 200$ and up for a night but you can stay in Marsh Harbour for 100$ a night and get a decent place. Marsh Harbour has some fantastic beaches that offer great snorkelling and the water is crystal clear and chances are you will be the only one out there doing anything. The water is clear and the beach is empty making a trip to the beach worthwhile instead of skipping the place all together like most people do. Marsh Harbours beaches are enjoyable.

Marsh Harbour Restaurants

  • Cracker P's Bar & Gril

You can only get here by boat it sit's on 7 acres sea to sea with beaches on both sides beautifully landscaped with extensive lawns and a nature trail to take you to the other side. The restaurant sits 16' in the air with spectacular views of the Sea of Abaco and the Atlantic ocean and the surounding Cays. The food is all grilled in thier open...

  • Ice Cream and More

Jamies place is a very quiet and clean place not 3 minutes from my apartment. The people working there are very friendly and they allow you to order and take away your food. The dishes are a mix of American and Bahamian including eggs and pancakes, fish dishes, salads, fruit dishes and veggie omelettes. The place is a great place to unwind and...

  • Great View

Curlytails is well known to any expat or yachty because it is perfectly located next to the docks. Curlytails is one of the better pubs/grill places because of its location but also because it has two floors. The bottom floor is used for classy dining while upstairs (busy on weekends) plays Caribbean music, shows sports on the tele and offers some...

Marsh Harbour Nightlife

  • Live music and good crowd

Sapodillys used to be one of the best places to go out and meet a good crowd but unfortunately that place burnt down to the ground in August 2007. Snappas pub draws a really good crowd on weekends especially Saturday because that is when the locals and the tourists go out and the live music is good fun. The music is usually home grown talent but...

  • moon light cocktails

Dinner and cocktails with the ocean surf in front of you and the abaco sound behind you is one of the most romantic spots I've found. As in all of the abacos, nice shirt and shorts are fine. Never a jacket in the abacos
