Delicious! Has sushi and fusion entrees. The mussel appetizers were fantastic, the grilled chicken with mixed salad had the sweet yummy dressing and cheese ravioli was also perfect. Not too heavy on the sauces. Bread was fresh too!

    Favorite Dish: Everything is good.

Cafe Johnny Canoe is located next to the Nassau Beach Hotel in Cable Beach west of downtown Nassau and is one of only a few restaurants outside of the hotels in this area. They serve excellent breakfasts and lunch/dinner menu's which lean towards the American market such as burgers, steaks, chicken, sandwiches, fish, and local dishes such as lobster and conch. This became a regular stop for me as I stayed at the Nassau Beach Hotel.

Located next door to where I was staying on Cable Beach, this was all the nightlife I found in this area. I came in here a few times as I like to play blackjack and I also came in here to the restaurant for their breakfast buffet and I had an evening meal as well.

    Open: Daily 10am-4am.

Jitney's are small minibuses that can carry about 20 or so people and cost a set price of $1 for any single journey. They are very useful if you're staying on Cable Beach for getting in/out of downtown Nassau (No's 10 & 10A). They terminate on the corner of Frederick St and Bay St near the Straw Market. My only gripe with them is that they stop at 7 or 8pm which means you have to take a taxi back if spending the night in Nassau.
