Nassau is practically dead at night with little to no nightlife. The locals do know where to go out as the clubs are spread not concentrated in the burbs on the island. So if you want to meng with Bahamiam people and get into their party scene try getting in touch with a reliable Bahamiam person. The resort areas Paradise Island and Cable Beach have there little nightly entertainment for tourists. Nassau is not a mega nightlife spot despite the heavy concentration of tourism and its 150,000+ citizens.
we took the 'Booze Cruise'
it was fun
for $40-50 bucks they take you snorkeling (equip. included), lunch, free drinks, and a quick boat tour. Worth the price, especially if you are fond of alcohol. ;)
And they are very responsible, they do not let people with the snorkeling tags drink beforehand...
Oh, and they give you discount passes for nightclubs as well...
Here is a pic from a little island the boat stops at after snorkeling...
Open air nightclub featuring all types of music. Very cozy atmosphere without the high Atlantis prices.
Dress Code: Chic casual
The cruise ship had many activities to choose from. They had family entertainment, adult comedy and side excursions - to name a few.
Dress Code: Wear semi-formal attire on the captains dinner night.
