I always use a squashy duffle with wheels. They are easy to manouvre and are like a tardis inside. I also take a ruck sac as hand carry which can double as an excursion bag when you reach your destination.
When it's time to pack for your resort-based vacation, you'll want to bring comfortable, casual clothing for the breakfast/lunch dining rooms, daytime activities or sightseeing, and swimsuits and workout clothes for pools, Jacuzzis, saunas and health clubs. Many restaurants in resorts have dress codes that require dresses or pantsuits for women and slacks and a jacket (with or without tie) for men. Dress codes may be noted on the individual resort page, either in the dining section or under dress code.
Pack all of your medications, prescription or otherwise, in a bag you can carry on your flights. Obtain extra prescriptions from your physician for any medications you are currently taking and carry them with you. Dont forget your contact lenses if you wear them!
Bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses for bright, sunny days. You'll naturally want to bring your camera or video camera as well.
Think about the kind of excursions you may take and pack accessories, where appropriate, such as hiking boots, ponchos or rain gear and snorkel gear.
Those of you who are familiar with my pages know that I always strongly advise the use of 3 in 1 wipes. Leave a Comment

Make sure you have plenty of sunscreen. The sun is very hot, especially if you are not use to it. It would also be a good idea to have something to cover up with - when you have had too much sun. Leave a Comment

Always make sure you have your camera, film and other supplies with you. You may never be back here again, and you always want to be able to remember what you saw by taking pictures. Leave a Comment

Carry- on will work well for a one week casual stay
Take less than you think - We did no clubbing or 'night spots' so business casual was as formal as we needed. Spent most of the time in shorts and a t-shirt.

Don't ever overpack. i am one of the worst offenders of this and at times I have paid dearly for it. Pack only what you intend to carry.
Tennis shoes, one pair of dress shoes, swimming trunks, shorts, t-shirts, one or two nice shirts and some nice pants-For ladies only you know what you really need-:)
Lots of Sunscreen and Suntan lotion. Also Sunburn creme and medication. Chapstick for windburn.
Take a throw away camera, If you lose it you'll only lose some memories, not an expensive 500$ camera.
Bring a good attitude, enough cash and have fun Leave a Comment

Listen, if you only reason to go to Nassau, Bahamas is only rest and relaxation, then pack light. Some shorts, tees and bathing suits. Enough said!
Light clothing, comfy shoes (sandals for the beach or if you are going to venture towards the town, then some sneakers)
Bring your own toilteries if you do not care for the hotels products (but if you forget something prepare to pay because it is quite expensive in the Bahamas).
Bring on the Digital Camera. You can see the beauty of the ocean sky from your beautiful digital pictures.
