Chez Willie's, Nassau

Overall this restaurant represents a disappointing overpriced package. I travel to the bahamas regularly on business and only go here if 'forced' by other people.

The decor is dated and cheap and the ambience non existent, and somehow they manage to put you near the kitchen / toilet even when the place is virtually empty.

The service attempts to be luxurious but fails, and becomes tragically cheesy and over the top. (Expect bowing and hand kissing - ladies best to wear goves for the latter)

This place is desperately trying to be something its not. The food isnt bad, its just the same food you can have elsewhere for third of the price, and in a better location.

For the same money have two meals in the following restaurants instead : cafe matisse, poop deck, provence, lucianos.

Also by a strange coincidence they never have the wine you order but recommend a 'similar' bottle for about thirty dollars more, and as the restaurant is so dark you cant see the swindle on the wine list.

If you go there dont say you havent been warned......
