From the harbour on Paradise Island (just over the bridge from Nassau) you get in a boat that will take you to the Blue Lagoon. On this island is a dolphin sanctuary, where they will allow you to encounter or swim with dolphins. This is the most wonderful experience you can ever imagine, and words can express the wonder and joy you will feel being in the water with the loving animals. However this is very popular and we would recommend that you book as soon as you know when you will be there as places are limited but this must be done. Leave a Comment

Just great!!! We went with the 10:30 ferry. It's 165$ per person. You take the ferry at Paradise Island (you can arrange with Dolphin Encounters the bus to Paradise Island from your hotel for 8$). At arriving at Blue Lagoon they make a short introduction and make groups of no more of ten people. Every group goes to a separate part of the lagoon with two dolphins instructors and two dolphins. After lots of kisses, hugs and dances with the dolphins (personaliced, everybody interacts with the dolphins) there is the highlight of the show: the foot-push, when the dolphin push you and make you "fly" over the water... great experience!!! They take you photos of the kissing with the dolphin, one with the dolphin in front (with your couple or family if you are together) and there is a DVD of the whole thing you can buy (90$). The photos are 16$ I think, with an offer of 45$ and a photo-keyring if you take the 3 photos.

The Blue Lagoon Island is a great island to relax and chill. You will find miles of white sandy beaches, you can dance to an island band, snorkeling or scuba diving and much more. The ferry departs from Paradise Island and the excursion includes food, unlimited wine turn and fruit punch. Unfortunately after a few hours on the island it started to rain. And I mean really raining. It was really a pitty, because we didn't get to stay the entire day. We had to leave earlier, which was also a weird experience being on a boat when a mini hurricane is blowing! I still thank God that we got off that boat safely :-) Nevertheless, The Blue Lagoon Island was a great experience! Leave a Comment

by Alicja1 Very good place to relax: beautiful beaches and palm trees. You can swim there with delphins and enjoy the sunshine. I have just fallen in love in this place. Leave a Comment

The Beach at Blue Lagoon by HotSpotJ Blue Lagoon Island is a ferry ride away on the NorthEast side of the island. This ios a must see spot if you are visiting, not for the fact that they have filmed movies and TV shows here, but simply because it is beautiful. They have programs setup to swim with the dolphins, you can go snorkling, or you can just enjoy a day in Paradise. Leave a Comment

Our dolphin encounter began with a relaxing 25-minute boat ride, with great views of Nassau Harbour and surrounding islands, to Blue Lagoon Island. Just near the island people have the possibility to experience an amazing happening! We had the opportunity to interact with the dolphins from a waist deep platform. We could touch, feed, kiss, dance with and hug a dolphin, which was great! They also make a picture when the dolphin kisses you, which you will be able to buy afterwards. Just awsome! Since I will be placing some pictures and ad some more details this page will be under constructions for some time. Leave a Comment

Not only must see but must do! Take a boat trip out to an island (enjoyable trip), then get into the water (with guides) and play with the dolphins. Fun, fun, fun. Leave a Comment

Tons of fun. PJ ("our" sealion) hugged, kissed us; shook "hands", blew bubbles, stuck out her tongue. We got to "pet" her. Great experience. The "Touch Tank" is cool...conches, etc to touch. The lagoon/beach is pretty. Wanted to swim with dolphins, but our cruise did not give us enough time to do both.
