Well we went to have lunch at this little restaurant 3 minutes away from the ship terminal, we asked which was the best place to eat the famous conchfritters and everybody tell us is right in the corner across from the Hilton. Everybody was right, we had a very nice experience, the waitress are very friendly and her nickname is chocolate ,she was a darling, very friendly. We asked her for her recommendations and she told us that the conchfritters are a must and the kalik beer too, well we ordered the food, it was Great, we ordered more and we also ordered the Jerk Chicken, OMG that was finger licking good. I thank this restaurant for making our vacation worth it, it was great and a great experience. If you want good food real Bahamian Food this is the place, it is great. You can catch the local buses called jitneys all around the island. The fare is extremely cheap. The only bad part about these are they are not always reliable and they are slow, mainy because the driver stops and picks up nearly every local he/she sees walking along the road. It is a nice way to experience the real Bohemian life though!
