The casino is an amazing sight for the eyes. They have some of the most beautiful blown glass sculptures I have ever seen. The Dragon Nightclub is also part of the casino with great sounds for listening or dancing. Lots of interesting and unusual cocktails. There is also Club Rush which is for young people from the ages of 7 to 12 at very early hours and then older teens in the evenings.
Dress Code: Just about anything goes in the casino from shorts to cocktail dress. Most people do dress up in the evenings though. Lots of sightings of movie stars to rock stars, which makes for an exciting and lively atmosphere.

Description: While the Atlantis nightclub dragon and the casino are great nightspots, it's really only inhabited by tourists. If you want to mingle with natives go over the bridge and head over to the zoo (about a 25 min drive) or the waterloo (about a 10 min drive) where you'll find simple but spacious accomadations with an outdoor pool and grill where you can buy burgers and snacks when you get hungry toward the the end of the night. And of course great reggae music!
Dress Code: shorts, tank tops, flip-flops, anything goes!

This is my favorite club in Nassau. It is very, very large, and provide a lot of different things to do. There is a dance floor (of course), and several outdoor bar areas. In addition, they have an indoor area with an additional dance floor and pool tables. There's also a pool, but no one ever goes swimming..
The music is fun, and it's always packed during high season. They sometimes bring out one of those mechanical bulls -- which can be very entertaining when intoxicated.
Many of the cab drivers will sell you discounted passes to get into Waterloo. This will save you $5-10 on cover.
Dress Code: Very casual. I was there during spring break, so everyone was dressed very casually in vacation gear: halter tops, tank tops, jeans, etc.

On special nights, they have a standup comedian at nights here. It's just like what you see on television. Kind of reminds mre of the beginning of every episode of Seinfeld. It's great if you have a great comedian (that just comes without even saying, I guess).
Dress Code: Nicer clothes, like church clothes

The music is typical of a nightclub with a feeling of New York or Chicago. Its located inside the Atlantis Casino. Drinks are alittle expensive and cover charge is free to hotel guests but $30 for everyone else. If you don't feel like going in the nightclub area you can still hear the music from most of the casino's slots or tables.
Dress Code: Proper attire is required. No jeans, shorts, t-shirts. Most women wear dresses or skirts. The crowd dresses to impress!

Here, my dad poses with the local beer, which is the least expensive beer to order from here. Needless to say that it is still a little more pricy in the Atlantis complex, it's the local flavor, and everyone seemed to be pretty content with their Kaliks

The casino is where a vast majority of the testosterone is harboured in this hotel. It's not just a nightlife spot; it's open the whole day for those who feel like they just might win their $200 back which they lost the night before. You can't take pictures inside the casino (mine was taken just outside of it), nor can you allow your children to gamble under your supervision. It's very lively, and there's always someone on a roll in the casino. There are many cool glass sculptures in and around the casino which are worth browsing. A popular favorite is the red fireball looking one.
Dress Code: Anything, really. So long as it's not nothing. You also don't really want to look like crap when you're among a lot of other people who are gambling with big money, so it's all in your own decision. At least have a shirt and closed-toed shoes on.

Every Saturday night, they have a fireworks show above the "baths", so if you stand on the porch of the lobby, you'll have a great view of the fireworks display. It's fun for the family; they have many amazing colors and designs. Very cool
Dress Code: Anything your heart desires.. short of nothing

Great, so I'm too young to get into the good clubs in Miami, but I'm too old for the only one in Atlantis. It sucks to be me sometimes. I couldn't tell you what it's like inside, since I'm too old to go there, but I asked some of the kids who went there, and they said they had a lot of fun. I saw a lot of parents going with their children in nightlife outfits to Club Rush, so it obviously must be a safe environment if the kids' parents are going to be there as well.
Dress Code: Nicer clothes. Nightclub-typical clothing. Try to sway your child away from the really, REALLY adult clothing that is reminiscent of a stripper. That'll attract the wrong kind of attention to your child. It surprises me how many parents allow their children to wear whatever they want, even if it could be dangerous, especially if they're passing through the casino alone to get to Club Rush

When wanting to go out at nights for some dancing or drinking be very careful where you go and stay in groups or better yet go to the dance club at Atlantis. The locals in town at the clubs are very sleazy and are all over you. Some will try to take you home.
