Didn't Meet Expectations
Diving around the New Providence Island (where Nassau is) proved to be very disappointing.I was diving with Stuart Cove. It is a big outfit but I had the perception that it is more of a commercial money making business rather than a nice relaxing place for divers to hang out.Of the dive sites visited, there was very little marine life & coral. Many of the dives centred around wrecks that were not particularly interesting.Stuart Cove offer shark dives which again I would not recommend. On regular dives, it is likely that you will encounter reef sharks so there is no need to spend the extra money on the shark dive.The one difference with the shark dive is that they feed the sharks so there is a bit more of a frenzy. To be honest, I prefer to see sharks naturally withoutthem having to be fed for entertainment.
