Chub Cay Shopping

When I ordered a pasta dish from the restaurant, it was a long time before they came back and said they didn't have any. They had gone to this little grocery store and opened it up to see if they had any pasta there that they could use. (They didn't)

In any case, this is a combined grocery store (small), liquor store and gift shop. The lady that runs it comes from Nassau, and sometimes it isn't open all the hours that it says it will be.

Their bread is supposed to be good but the locals won't make any unless all the bread is gone. They still had some Wonder Bread when we were here, so we didn't get to buy any of the home made bread.

Red Bay handwoven basket $22.50 and my DIL tells me that is an exceptionally good price for that type of basket.
