It might seem small and simple bar, but that's just the Bahamian way! Start the night there, have a Tequila, watch someone drinking a bodyshot, laugh, meet the owner, talk to local people! Enjoy it!
Dress Code: Just wear comfortable clothes
You can't go to Grand Bahama without somebody trying to sell you tickets to the Bahama Mama Booze Cruise. You get all the Bahama Mamas you can drink and hors d'oevres too. They warn you that the drinks will sneak up on you, but I disagree. Those drinks stand right up in front of you and smack you in the face! A bus ride is included in the ticket price and it is highly recommended that you take it! Admission is $29, and children are not allowed.
Dress Code: There is no dress code, but most people dressed smartly.
Get a pina colada and settle down with your friends or significant other on one of the benches or tables around the courtyard in the marketplace, where free music is offered nightly by local bands, and the locals as well as the tourists gather and occasionally dance.
The music is free, and although the quality of the performances vary, it is almost always enjoyable, and is a nice, romantic way to sample the local culture.
Dress Code: Whatever you want - if you're coming from a nice restaurant like La Dolce Vita, being dressed up is certainly appropriate, though if you are coming from the beach, a halter top and shorts is fine too.

In Freeport, just go to the center of the marketplace and there is music every night along with performers. The show only lasts until about 11p but there are some other clubs around that stay open later if you want more to do.
There is a little outside bar in the marketplace; called the Pub at Port Lucaya. They have the best strawberry margaritas and the bartenders are just great.
