Great food, sandwich and burger joint.
This open air cafe sits right next to the impressive boats docked at Hurricane Hole on Paradise Island.
Very casual and low key the prices are reasonable ( a shocker in Nassau) and the staff great.
You get the feeling that alot of the people eating there come back year after year.
Favorite Dish: Lobster wrap - fresh and yummy
I really cant say that I had a favorite, because they are all really overpriced for mediocre food. I guess the restuarants in the Atlantis resort are ok...
There are a couple of other places- the Green Parrot on Paradise Island was alright.
The one unique quality, which is very consistent at all the restaurants, is the incredibly anemic service. Also, everywhere you go, they add 15% tip, even for one person. I later learned that the entire F&B industry is unionized, one of the key pieces of information in me deciding not to buy a resort in the Bahamas. Your order will always be late, and will probably be wrong, no matter where you go...
Favorite Dish: All of the island fare is like being in the states, there is really no local cuisine; everything is imported.
