A great variety and a hit with locals...As usal the franchises underestimate the buying power of Chaguanites and always make the stores to SMALL! Expect to line up outside on weekends,

Located at any busy intersection; street corner; transport hub or mall entrance you will find a trustworthy health approved and badge-wearing roadside vendor selling doubles and other local trini-indian cusine.
Doubles itself consists of two golden fried flat flour patties with curried chick-pea(channa)and chutneys/peppersauces/or preserves to your liking..or not. They are more-ish and cost TT$1.
These vendors also sell savoury 'aloo pies'...fried pasties filled with spicy potato they are to die for!! you can have these filled with preserve or chutneys also

ALL trinidadians are crazy for KFC..and indeed its the tastiest in the world..you must try it.
