  • Doubles!

This place has the best doubles in Trinidad, but you have to get up early! Don't let the picture put you off - it might look like chickpea vomit but the are the best tasting things ever. And of you can manage not to look like you're a 1 year old with a birthda cake when you eat it the locals will give you major props! A wonderful combo of Chick...

Ru-B-Lous is the BEST restaurant I visited in Tobago. Their Catch of the Day (Marlin) was delicious and their chocolate chip cake superb! The Peacock Mill was built around a sugar cane mill that was established in 1767. There are usually at least 50 peacocks on the grounds between 5p and 5:30p.The restaurant is located 4 miles from Scarborough and 3/4 mile from Crown Point International Airport. The peacocks were used as security guards back in earlier days because they always let...

A big restaurant with really nice décor. If there weren’t so many tables it could be very romantic. The portions were extremely big here and the food wasn’t bad either. Although I found there was a conflict between the pub type of food and the quite stylish décor. They had a funny menu including titles like “wines without a bank loan”. All the...

Panache is a quite simple local style restaurant. Owned by the same people who own The House of Pancakes. There were no menus; the waiter told us what was available for the evening. • Eat with a toucan and a parrot

Nice hotel restaurant that we visited twice for lunch. Food was ordinary fish and chips, hamburgers etc., but portions were huge and it was cheap. Service was the friendliest we got on the island. Our waiter was so nice and funny. They have a resident toucan and a parrot on site.

  • Local art and great food

A very good option for lunch. They have everything from fresh fruit juices to pizzas and sandwitches. But I don't mean those regular pizzas, these are something else. Homemade and simply delicious!Take a look at the art, too. There are some interesting pieces. The paintings were especially beautiful.

Upsides: The restaurant looks very nice and cozy. Food is very artfully prepared. Pretty good selection of wines. • Lobster in Butter and Garlic Sauce

The restaurant has a pretty expansive view of the Atlantic waters. My only complaint is that their table covers are covered in sticky plastic. But given the chance I will always stop by for the lobster. It was incredibly delicious!Another caveat: the drive from Crowne Point (airport) to Jemma's is long and winding. But the views are entertaining.

Even though I was almost sure I'll get sick eating from the food stand, and quite skeptical to do like the locals, but whatever killed the cat did not get me sick after all. It was late afternoon, and pretty much Polourie was all I could try, it's kind of like unsweetened little round sugar donuts, not much taste without the tasty chili sauce.
