The sea between Goat Island and Speyside is shallow and is an excellent diving and snorkeling spot. At the rear of Goat island is Japanese Gardens where there are gardens of coral. Some of the largest brain coral is found off the island.

Snorkeling is a popular pastime around Speyside. Most of the hotels will rent you snorkel gear if you didn't bring your own.
If you take the glass-bottom boat over to Little Tobago, it will stop about half way back and let you snorkel.
