JoJo and the Whales - don't get your hopes up !
This isn't really a tourist trap, and it gives me no pleasure in passing on this info, but I think it's only fair to do so. JoJo the Dolphin is used in alot of tourist literature and was a dolphin who reportedly preferred humans to his own pod, and could be seen swimming with boats and snorkellers around Grace Bay. However, sadly since the hurricanes of last year, JoJo has not been seen, and one can only assume the worst.Also, many companies on Provo used to run whale watching trips and still advertise them, but the tourist board will no longer give licences to tour operators to run such trips due to the lack of whales in the Provo area.If whale watching is your thing, you need to go to one of the more Eastern islands. Don't worry, there are still plenty of things to swim with.
