by Bostephenson Just relax! Everything all over the Virgin Islands is geared towards you having a good time. They are excited about your being there, and you will have a wonderful time.
Without a doubt, my favorite part of my Virgin Islands experience was my mother and cousin's birthday party. There are excellent facilities on this small island to help prepare a wonderful travelling event in house. Leave a Comment

by bdbrewer Sit under my favorite Tamarind tree. While it is hot in the sun, you can almost get a chill under 'my' tree.

by HighAdventur As you fly into ST. Thomas, this is what you'll see. Just below the big cloud is the airport and to the right a little is the capital city of Charlotte Amalie. Leave a Comment

YOu have to try atleast some of the water sports when you're there. All of these activities can be found at the various resorts.
Here are some to try: scuba diving, snorkeling, parasailing, windsurfing, deep sea fishing, kayaking, biking - yeah they have those dorky ones with the big wheels that go in the water. The only thing I don't suggest is Jet Skiing. They're loud and they destroy the marine life. Leave a Comment

by mmcnie Visit 'The Baths' on Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands
The British Virgin Islands look like their U.S. counterpart, but have a much more relaxed feel. Virgin Gorda is particularly beautiful with its almost desert like terrain being unexpected in the Caribbean. One end of the island holds a mass of monolithic boulders jumbled together into the sea. You can climb around and explore hidden lagoons and the natural effects that developed this unique formation. Hidden amidst the rocks is a beautiful white sand beach with a cove for snorkelling or swimming. I chose to drape myself on a high, flat boulder and warm up in the sun. The scenery is beautiful and if you take a day trip from the USVI you'll also get to see some of the tiny islands in the chain, and make some great snorkel stops. For this trip I recommend Captain Nautica (based on St.Thomas) as the most fun and well-organized. I was able to test out most activities while I worked for St. John Adventures (concierge service on St. John). They can help you organize your trip while in the USVI or even before you leave with any detail from car rental, sailing trips, even welcome provisions. www.stjohnadventures.com Tell Brenda that Micki sent you. by canmill St. thomas is a mountainous island, so all of the houses and buildings are just propped up on the mountain side. The orange roofs add to the luster of the green hills. Leave a Comment

by canmill The water is so beautiful! These scaned photographs do it no justice. The water is an Emerald Green color and the harbors ar filled with sail boats. Leave a Comment

by canmill I am an artist so I absolutely loved St. Thomas. All along the shopping area are little art galleries and shops. I saw a sign along the road that said birthplace of Pissarro. Of course I was intrigued, because he studied with Van Gogh. I walked up probably 5 flights of winding stairs and then it was finally in view. It was a quaint little house turned into a gallery that featured local artists as well as a number of Camille Pissarro's prints. It turns out that Camille's father was a merchant and owned the little shop below. What an interesting find! Leave a Comment

by dinagideon Look at the view we really had, without the zoom lense. (To the left is me looking decidely unglamorous.) We were very high up. Truly, to take a car tour of the island, from the high points to the lowest beaches, is well worth the scary roads. Was it ever beautiful!!! Leave a Comment

by dinagideon This is a picture for my guest book. I DID NOT TAKE IT! It is from a free wallpaper web site! Isn't it pretty, though? Leave a Comment
