Dive the reefs with Dive Experience Dive Shop in Christensted. They are the ultimate in diving resources as far as I'm concerned. My first night dive. I miss my mother-in-law the most since she live on island and I live stateside.

spend time in the National Park. Start at the visitor center in Cruz Bay and get advice from the ranger or volunteer there. If you are on a cruise ship, your time is too limited but do see Trunk Bay and snorkel the underwater trail. You really need to spend a week to experience the wonders of the park and St John. The friendly people...but remember to ALWAYS start a conversation with 'Good Morning' or 'Good day'. Failure to do this will result in you thinking we are NOT friendly and we will think you are rude. Slow down, we 'visit' a bit before transacting business, even asking directions or the time.

See Meagan's Bay, St. Thomas - The most beautiful place with crystal clear water that I've ever seen! Take a Catamaran from St. Martin - SO much fun! Rent a car and explore St. Croix. And take a boat to Trunk Bay, St. John. Everything is so beautiful! The clearest, most sparkling water and terrific beaches. The Catamaran was terrific. The crew was wonderful and very friendly - making it that much more fun. Renting a car in St. Croix was great because you were on your own to explore wherever you could go. And the snorkeling is great too!

Go to Meagan's Bay on St. Thomas. We also stopped at Drake's Seat where there's a fabulous view of the ocean and island. St. John has this great beach at Trunk Bay for swimming, sunbathing or snorkeling. One of the most fun things we did was to rent a car and just drive around St. Croix. It was such fun just being on our own and seeing what we could see. They also had a wonderful street fair that was a lot of fun. But the most fun was the catamaran from St. Martin.....the crew was so friendly and the ride was just gorgeous!

I did not travel the Island very much. I spent most of my time on the beach. I had a fantastic time. There was a small group of us that stayed on the same beach for a couple of days. We stayed outside and slept in hammocks. The picture I have added was of Tortola. If you look in the tree you can see one of our little clan chasing the ever elusive coconut. This unsuccessful hunt did however make him the celebrity of the beach for the night. A free round of drinks and a bunch of new friends were a great side effect.

Visit 'The Baths' on Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands The British Virgin Islands look like their U.S. counterpart, but have a much more relaxed feel. Virgin Gorda is particularly beautiful with its almost desert like terrain being unexpected in the Caribbean. One end of the island holds a mass of monolithic boulders jumbled together into the sea. You can climb around and explore hidden lagoons and the natural effects that developed this unique formation. Hidden amidst the rocks is a beautiful white sand beach with a cove for snorkelling or swimming. I chose to drape myself on a high, flat boulder and warm up in the sun. The scenery is beautiful and if you take a day trip from the USVI you'll also get to see some of the tiny islands in the chain, and make some great snorkel stops. For this trip I recommend Captain Nautica (based on St.Thomas) as the most fun and well-organized. I was...

Spend some time on Saint John!...

by Super_Dave

Spend some time on Saint John! Take the either the Red Hook ferry from the east end of St Thomas or the down town ferry not far from Saint Thomas' airport.Live your life 'slowly'...sleep late, eat well, go to the beach, have a great dinner, and stay up late. I really enjoyed the tropical paradise and beaches. Warm pristine water gently laps at your feet as you lay stretched out at the water's edge. Temperatures are nice and warm.

In St. John, rent a car and snorkel gear for a day, drive to the the most beautiful beaches you'll ever see and frolic in the crystal blue waters of Cinnamon Bay, Trunk Bay, and Waterlemon Cay. I really enjoyed snorkeling in the waters of Cinnamon Bay. The water was very warm and serene and had excellent visibility. Can you see the turtle in this photo?!

Day sailing trip with Captain Neil Newhard of the 'Hirondelle.' He told the best stories. My b-friend, Chuck, and another sailor, Eileen, are enjoying the relaxing ride toward Jost Van Dyke of the British Virgin Islands.

by dshoultz

Like I said in the intro, you must travel through the islands. There is so much to see, and you can't possibly see it all at one island. last year I spent my Spring Break with my best friend Josh on St. Thomas. We stayed in a beautiful house, and then went to Tortola for a couple days and stayed in another beautiful house. Then back to St. Thomas and we ended our trip over in St. John's, which is absolutley beautiful.
