We were told to "dress for dinner" while on the island. Once we got there we realized that t-shirts and shorts are island formal, and dressing for dinner means not wearing a bathing suit. There's no need to dress up, and with most of the restaurants being open, prepare to be warm.

It is customery to greet people with "good morning" "good afternoon" and "good night".
Crucian people tend to be reserved but as soon as you greet them and smile they will warm up to you right away.
