Blu (Aquaclass Only Restaurant): Good Breakfast to Start the Day

    by cjg1 Updated Dec 24, 2013

A perk onboard the Celebirty Summit for staying in an Aquaclass room was access to Blu. Blu is a resturant for Aquaclass guests only. The food here is definitely better that the Main Dining Room and has healthier options.

The menu consisted of pancakes, waffles, french toast, breakfast pastry, crepes, bacon, sausage, ham and eggs cooked to your liking. They also had a nice selection of smoothies, juices and specialty coffees.

My wife and I loved starting our day with a great breakfast from here. I most definitely enjoyed their french toast as well as their well cooked eggs. My wife in particular loved that they had smoothies; her favorite being the Mango Madness. The bacon here ans well as the potatoes were a good quality and much tastier than anything offered in the rest of the ship. My only complaint is that they do not offer Real Maple Syrup; only the imitation syrup which was a huge dissapointment.

Eat@Cane Bay Bar and Grill: Food Uneaten

by grandmaR Written Feb 12, 2010

It wasn't meal time, but there appeared to be a couple of places to eat around Cane Bay. It was hard to determine their names. According to Trip Adviser, one of them may be called "Waves" and maybe also one of them may be "Off the Wall". One sign that I saw said "Catch the Wave". There is also apparently a restaurant called Boogies.

Favorite Dish: I did not eat here. All I did was take photos

    Kim's Restaurant: Seriously Satisfying!

    by mpierre16 Written Mar 28, 2008

After our 3.5 hour hike that morning, we were ready and hungry! Our local friend Richard, frequents there and took us for lunch. It was exactly what we wanted, except for NO PLAINTAINS! Very disappointed as this would have set it off to be perfect. My snapper doused in sauce, the way Richard and I like it, was excellent. The rice and peas could have been better to Stevi's liking, but I was very satisfied. The freshness and colour of the salad was a pleasant surprise for me and was exquisite too. The quaintness and service was perfect too. Loved it! (We unfortunately were a little rushed, we had a date with our Buck Island Snorkeling trip Captain Heinz and his son Larry were waiting for us!)

Favorite Dish: Stewed Snapper with rice and peas and sweet potato and salad - THE BEST! Stevi had curry chicken and it was divine as well.

  • Sunset Grill: Dinner By the Sunset

Great ambience....we ate dinner on the beach just 10 feet away from the water. With it being on the west side of the island, it is prefect for eating while watching a sunset. Very very peaceful.

Favorite Dish: The almond grouper and coconut mahi were fantastic.

    The Lost Dog: PIZZA!

by jenval Written May 16, 2007

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

The Lost Dog is really a bar in Frederiksted, but they make outstanding pizza - easily the best on the island. They also have calzones and a few other menu options along those lines. Be advised - they only take cash.

    Pleasants: Don't miss the burgers

    by Capt_Splash Updated May 3, 2007

Don't get a double hamburger unless you intend to share it with another person. I think a single patty was about a half pound. Great "bar food" like sandwiches, chicken strips, onion rings etc.

Oh yes, ask Annie the barmaid to make you a Cruzan Confusion, Theirs has 13 shots in it and it went for $4.00. They do have an ongoing SPECIAL with Bud or Bud Lite for a buck a bottle or a Cruzan rum and Coke for a buck fifty.

BTW:Otis the owner is prior military, so those of you that carry a coin (if you have one you know what I am talking about), make sure you have it because he does do a coin check. They all wear shirts that say "I'm a Pleasant Person", and they mean it...

Favorite Dish: Every thing was just great

A great little beach bar a little away from it all. Off the wall have the Best Sunsets on the island and ther free Sunset Shoot does not hurt any. Just a friendly little place with great drinks and good food. Some of the best burgers on the island.

A very simple place, but if you like to sit in front of the ocean and watch people pass by, this is a good place. They have a live lobster tank with some crabs. Occasionally small crabs pass beneath the tables. At night the deck bar opens.

Favorite Dish: For lunch try the quesadillas, and the fish tacos, dinner menu did'nt impress me. Breakfast served daily

My third choice for fine dining in St Croix is Indies. Set in a beautiful courtyard full with tropical plants, Indies offers an upscale dining experience with a strong accent on seafood and other island inspired dishes.

Another superb upscale restaurant in Christiansted. Fabolous Steaks and Lobster, and a extensive wine list (If I rmember correctly it has the largest wine selection in St. Croix.

iAlso features a cozy bar and pooltable.

Food and Drink... mostly drink... came here on our first night on the island, and drank for a few hours. Had a grilled chicken sandwich between beers... The truth is, all these waterfront places are basically the same......

This is also the island's only Microbrewery!!

You'd think this would be an Indian Restaurant.. but it's not. It's a very nice place with wonderful great dishes......

Favorite Dish: I had a very good seafood pasta dish from the menu, but the best taste was the escargot appetizer..... smothered in garlic!!
