So Many Islands
Favorite thing: Too little time to find all those Caribbean isles and, more importantly, the ones we visited! As per my usual MOA when traveling, I mapped out where I'd been after I returned from the cruise. I do remember finding this little map and thinking that now I'd know where I'd been.
It didn't help me figure that out but it did help me figure out how close we were to our final stop, "Porto Rico!"
Carribean Quickie Showers
Favorite thing: We encountered a couple of these on our cruise. It would rain, no pour, for 5 - 15 mins, clear up, dry up, as if it had never rained.
And it was refreshing!
These photos are from the uber-quick shower in Charlotte-Amelie on the last afternoon of the cruise. I was going to sit up top but when I looked out the door it was pouring. So I went one deck below to get a towel. By the time I walked down the 1 flight of stairs, it had stopped. I went back up, dried off the seat and I was all set!

The Four US Virgin Islands
Favorite thing: There are basically 4 Virgin Islands. St thomas (the busiest), St John (most laid back), St Croix (the largest and at present, slowest) and Water Island (the smallest). St John and St Thomas are easy go betweens on the ferry, they leave every half hour. St Croix is a good hour and a half on the fastest ferry--or a plane ride.
Fondest memory: Charlotte Amalie has nice conviences and the most to do at night. St John really has no night life except for Duffy's and Woody's. St John's beach, though really are the most spectacluar.

Paradise Point Tramway
Favorite thing: The Paradise Point Tramway, is a cable car and its ride has a great sightseeing. The trip takes you up to 700 Feet above sea level and you can enjoy panoramic views of cruise ships, the harbor with its sailboats and seaplanes, downtown Charlotte Amalie, and the neighboring islands. The roundtrip cost is $15 per Adult, $7.50 for children (6-12 years) and children 5 and under are free (Tip: if you rent a car at Budget, you'll get a coupon book with one roundtrip free when you buy one adult ticket). You can also go up to Paradise Point by car. You can stay at the top for as long as you want! A bar and café is located at the top. Tramway is open only when there is a cruise ship in town.
Favorite thing: This tower is considered to be one of the oldest buildings in St. Thomas. It is located at the top of the 99 steps. I believe it has a great view of Charlotte Amalie, but they wanted charge us $20 per person for a tour. They did not allow us to get in just to take picture without taking this tour.
Round trip to British Virgin Islands
Favorite thing: Make sure you find time for a day going on a roundtrip in the magnificent British Virgin Islands. There are several tour operators on the east-side of the island, we started from Sapphire Beach, with "New Horizon II".

Load Up on Liquor
Favorite thing: There is a very generous allowance of items bought in the US Virgin Islands. Liquor allowances are also better here. And the prices can't be beaten.
Fondest memory: The stores are located in the old warehouses along the waterfront.
The shopping at the pier area...
Favorite thing: The shopping at the pier area was great. There were many shops with lots of different products. There are many more on the way from the pier to downtown, ranging from outdoor type booths to fancy shops downtown.
Fondest memory: The views, with houses dotting the hillsides, to the warm weather and the great beaches. It wouldn't be hard to imagine spending your entire life here.
GO THE THE HARD ROCK CAFE,ALSO...
Favorite thing: GO THE THE HARD ROCK CAFE,ALSO GO ON THE ATLANTIS SUMBMARINE,IT COSTS 70 DOLLARS BUT IT LASTED AND HOUR AND WAS WELL WORTH I
Fondest memory: THE BEST THING ABOUT OUR DAY THERE WAS OUR FERRY RIDE FROM TORTOLLA IN THE BVI.WE STAYING IN THE BVI AND WENT TO ST THOMAS FOR THE DAY
Last Sunset - Sniff!
Favorite thing: St. Thomas was our cruise's last stop. Here are some shots of that last sunset that I watched from the top balcony.
I was a little fahklempt.
Favorite thing: Located on Kongens Gade, Government House houses the offices of the governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Favorite thing: Fort Christian is a National Historical Landmark and is open Mon-Fri, 9am to 4pm and closed on weekends.
Havensight Shopping Mall
Favorite thing: This mall is located where the Cruise Ships comes and there were only few stores open the day we went. A little pricey and not too many options for shopping.
Favorite thing: These steps were built in the mid 1700s, by the Danes and is located next to the Government House in Charlotte Amalie. The 99 steps are actually 103 steps.
