Delly Deck: Tucked Away in Havensight

by grandmaR

We went to a little sandwich/hamburger place in Havensight called the Delly Deck and had lunch and talked about boats. The sign out front said "Restaurants are Only for Customers" I had a philly cheese steak ($11), and wanted potato salad, but they gave me fries instead. Bob had a tuna sandwich ($8.50) and fries. Dave had a mahi mahi sub and potato salad ($12.00) and iced tea ($2.00). That's what we all should have gotten. He insisted on paying for the meal, but he let Bob leave the tip.

Greenhouse restaurant and bar in Charlotte Amelia: Good atmosphere and harbor view

by BadDrachenfels

Good drinks, cold beer served in ice buckets, good happy hour. Food is good too with some decent local specialities. Nice breeze off harbor with view. Good place to socialize with friends and to enjoy an informal lunch or dinner. Appetizers are goodBut I recommend the Mango Banana chicken or the steaks or the fresh fish/shellfish dishes. Coconut shrimp good too.Go to Happy Hour.

Tickles Dockside Pub: Next to the Marina

by grandmaR

As we came in from the charter, I heard someone calling Blythe Spirit on the radio. I knew my first cousin had a boat by that name, so we called too, and found that they were in a marina in St. Thomas waiting for parts to fix their steering which had to be imported from Italy. So we met them for lunch in the restaurant next to the marina before we left to fly home and they told us all about their adventures in getting there. We had sandwiches, but I don't remember what they were.

Cuzzin's Caribbean Restaurant & Bar: Awesome Caribbean Food!

by cjg1

Cuzzin's is the place to come for awesome Caribbean food. The restaurant is located on Backstreet just a short walk from the main shopping drag. Inside the restaurant has several tables scattered throughout with local artwork (for sale) on the walls. The menu is chocked full of Caribbean specialties, Caribbean lobster, conch fritters, plantains, ribs, chicken and even some burgers for the "tourists". They have a nice drink menu filled with tropical drinks and beer. Choosing an entree is hard since everything on the menu sounds incredible. The entrees come with three side dishes and the list is hard to choose from such as sweet potatoes, plantains, coleslaw, mac & cheese, stuffing, etc.Liz and I have been to Cuzzin's every time we are in Charlotte Amalie and each time we have had excellent food and wonderful service. I would recommend that if you are in St. Thomas definitely come to...

Blue Moon Cafe: ABSOLUTELY!

by sabsi

Hunger and thirst forced us to leave our comfortable room at Secret Harbour Beach Resort even though we really only wanted to sleep and it was raining badly. Still it was good that we left, like this we had the chance to try out the hotel's Blue Moon Café and experience what happens when US style customer service goes "over the top". The location right on the water's edge is lovely. The food was good, a bit pricey though I think. What drove us crazy, however, was our waitress' friendliness. She was a bit too enthusiastic and answered "Absolutely" to every "Thank you" we said. After a while I couldn't stand it anymore. I wanted to kick her as soon as the word came out of her mouth. Absolutely annoying! ;) I had a nice ceasar salad followed by a simple tomato pasta dish. Both were good. Thomas had a duck dish he really enjoyed washed down with a terrible "Virgin Island Ale". We paid...

Fat Turtle: Located near the cruise ship pier

by Ericasmurf99

We were tired of eating on the ship, and I thought this place sounded and looked cute (cartoonish pictures of a fat turtle everywhere). It also had a very nice overview of the water. The food was kinda pricy, but good. My husband and I split a pizza. Favorite drink was a "Turtle Soup". Pina Colada mixed with Blue Curacao, my two favorites!

Paradise Point: Best View Ever!

by BigBlueOne

We came across this place when we took the Skyline to the top of the mountain in the St. Thomas harbor. To be honest the area at the top started off a little scary with very few people roaming the shops. But, we found the restaurant (the one on the lower level) and decided to sit for a second and grab a drink.Within the next 1/2 hour the place went from empty to full as the sun started to set and a band started warming up. The food was nothing great, just decent bar type fare, but to listen to a live band with the view up there was nothing short of fantastic. The fish and chips were pretty good.

Oceana: One of the "Island's Best"

by artdeco

Oceana is a fine dining restaurant set on the seaside patio of a historic house (former Russian Consulate) in Frenchtown. It offers a beautiful ocean view and amazing global cuisine. It was recommended to us by many people, included our wedding planner. We were not disappointed. Our evening in Oceana was very special with delicious food and wine. I had - Australian Lamb Sirloin with a porcini mushroom and white truffle polenta,Vidalia onion - fennel compote and lamb bordelaise...$28.005 stars!!!

Old Stone Farmhouse: A Culinary experience

by BadDrachenfels

Great atmosphere. Beautiful stone construction with wooden accents. Bar is nice. Dining area lovely and elegant. Service is exceptional and food quality and presentation is outstanding. I've eaten there multiple times and the quality is consistent while the menu varies. Wish I had a picture but you can see one on their inviting website. Menu included. Good wine selection as well.http://www.oldstone.rummi.com/

Jack's Wings: Best Buffalo Wings in the Caribbean

by praetorianxxxv

Owned and operated by a local radio DJ and his counterpart from the states , Jack's has the island's best Wings and although the scantilly clad women are scarce (because 80 % of the population are medically obese and would not look right in short shorts and tank tops) a la Hooters, the food is worth it. MY GOSH MAN PAY ATTENTION... THE WINGS I SAY ....THE WINGS!!
