You will need 10 euros coming off plane in Tirana
You will need 10 euros when you get off the plane at the Rinas airport in Tirana at the customs / passport counter. There is no where to exchange money before you get there so have the 10 euros with you. There is no way around this if you bring american dollars I heard they will take it at a hefty price you will pay more for the passport stamp. It's for the 30 day visas, if you are staying longer than 30 days as we did you have alot of red tape to go through that will take you at least 2 trips to the police station and to a notary and so on and so on......... Also on the way back out of the airport we didn't have to pay but if you don't have a letter stating you where there on some kind of business you will have to pay another 10 euros be prepared!
