Go up in the revolving tower right by the pyramid. It takes for the tower to go around one hour. There's a bar that has great american coffee (filter coffee) and you can sit for the price of coffee for an hour and see the whole city. We went up a few days before we left and this should have been our first place to visit so we could get our bearings on the lay out of the city. Go here first! the coffee was priced high 200 lek (2.00 dollars) but worth it to see the city for an hour, we had a great time here for 400 lek (4.00 dollars) also has an outside terrace that does not rotate

Pyramid built as a mausoleum for Enver Hoxha and now is empty. It had a church in it for a while a bar and now being renovated again. I seen the video of them tearing down the statue of Hoxha after the fall of communism. It's right on the main road that goes around the town the aqua green bus route you won't miss it. There is a large bell hanging above a walkway there too, the school kids collected spent bullet casings from the 1997 war and made a bell out of them that's alot of gun fire!

My travel guide said one of the nice things to see was the beautiful mosque. After seeing it I knew there wasn't going to be alot to see in Tirana. It's right off Skanderbueg Square where there is a statue and other communist buildings

it has a restaurant in it called the Kalaja (the Castle) built by the Byzantine emperor Justinian in the 6 th century AD. You will walk right pass the walls if you're not looking for it.
