If you decide to have cocktails: do NOT have the caipirinha - it's truly horrible. Better was the James Bond. But this too was far from memorable.

A great night out, fun-loving people, trendy music, DJs and live performances. The old villa converted into this bar retains its character, but has modern touches in terms of colours and themes. The main area in Tirana for nightlife is the area called Blokku.
I didn't see even a hint of any trouble when I was out and about in Blokku at night during my weekend in Tirana. Everybody I met was very polite. Theme: Eating and DrinkingDirections: From the city centre Blokku is the area immediately across the small river that runs through Tirana.

Buddha bar is an upscale Tirana night spot. Decked out in an Asian motif, Buddha Bar is a neat place to go after work and have a drink. Enjoy a hookah and a drink (Buddha Bar sports a full bar, including various scotches) and relax on one of the many couches.
Very friendly staff!
A cover charges is charged after 11:00 PM.

This place is so perfectly styled, you could think that nothing has changed since the seventies, if the seventies in Albania would have been the same as in capitalist countries. Everytings perfect: the wallpapers, the sofas, the lamps.
Different to many other clubs, this building is not a whole in the earth. It's an old builing with a nice hall, stairways leading you up to the dance floors and a roof-deck for the hot evenings.

A very modern and luxuary place where you can meet bands from all over the world. The best and very qualitative live music on Friday and Saturday. Perfect service and warm people.

The best (perhaps only) live jazz in town can be found at "Take Five" bar in Tirana, located near the American Embassy on Albason Road. The live music gets started around 10:30 PM and is excellent! Some of the best jazz piano that I have ever listened to. Additionally, the bar itself is well decorated and has a very friendly staff.
Enjoy a beer and listen to some great music in this upmarket Tirana bar!
