flew Delta from Cin,Ohio to Jfk, Jfk to Athens, Greece Jan. 2006. The flight was great to Athens everything was on time, we flew in first class the food was great and the service was too, Excellent! but here's the bad news the flight coming back at the end of March 2006 was awful, the food was terrible the beef was swimming in blood it tried to cut around the edges to eat some of it but it was even cooked, the fruit was rotted in some parts of it and it was just bad, the icecream how can they ruin the icecream well it had been sitting out and then refreezed how it looked to me. We picked at the food for the most part. I just drank a few tomato juices to keep me filled up. We then flew from JFK to Cin, Ohio. It was a small plane and we didn't get first class seats so they sat us in the back of the plane right by the engines couldn't see out just saw the engine and it was noisy! We flew on...

We flew into Tirana, Albania on Olympic Airlines Jan. 2006, it was a small 2 engine prop. plane it took off late out of Athens (we were told this is very common) It was a noisy flight over but they were kind gave us a small bottle of wine and snacks. We flew back out of Tirana, Albania end of March 2006, the plane took off 15 minutes early everybody was there so the way we go, it was great the flight was bumpy NO drinks were served at all we did ask for some water, we were just parched, very kind the flight was rough but we landed early which was great our flight schedule was tight we only had an hour between flights in Athens and had to switch planes, it all went smoothly. Also there is a Olympic airlines office right off the center square in Tirana just down from the Opera house. They were very nice to us there and reschuduled our tickets a week earlier for us at a charge of 21. euros...
Ride the Bus or walk

Ride the unaza bus (ring road) around town it will take you in a complete circle around the town. We rode this alot and some times just rode it around to see the town without having to walk. The buses are overcrouded and Ray got his wallet lifted and we seen alot of pick pockets on the buses stealing cell phones. It's cattle drive getting in and out of them be careful we wouldn't get on one that was over pracked too dangerous, men touching women on them too seen more than one fight over that. The buses smell and are dirty but it's a cheap ride 20 lekes (20 cents) There's a free bus that takes you out to the new shopping center, can get a ride at the center of twon by the opra house, you can get other buses going to Kezma and other destinations.
