Oxygen Beachbar: The best and only one in Pogradec

Finally Pogradec has a nightlife. The only place who stays open 24/7. Built on the beach for your enjoyment to be bathed in sunshine and fanned by the breezes of the Ohrid Lake. It offers a private beach, loud music, and a great selection of cocktails. A place where fun and enjoyment reign. We start off in the morning with coffee, freshly squeezed juices and chill out music. Later, we continue with delicious, refreshing Oxygen Beachbar cocktails. In the evening you can take part in the one-of-a-kind beach parties, with all the latest hits selected by our dj. Anything that you want. Less is best!

Rr Dëshmorët: The best street for bars

This is one of the best area's to come out to drink in the evening. Plenty of the young locals hang out in this area and it is always really busy. Many bars with outdoor seating area's and a very good place to people watch! Seems to be a cool place to be and just round the corner is a club so you can hear the music and see the lights up in the sky! On both sides of the road you will find trendy hang out places.The road was being dug up Aug 2005 so hopefully they have finished re laying it by now! depends where you go, but people tend to dress up when they go out at night in Albania.

Living Room: Tirana night spot

The Living Room is meant to be one of 'places to be seen' in Tirana. I have never been here but i here that it is a bar/club with a large rooftop lonuge and multilevel decks looking out of the city. There is a restaurant here but the main reason to come is the parties and cocktails!!!Open : 19:00 til 03:00. not sure on dress code!

Mango Beach: Music bar

Open from 08:00- 18:00 You can get fast food, music and bar. There is also a private beach with use of jet ski and canoe's.From 18:00 - 23:00 there is the kafe- bar and back ground music.Then from 23:00 til late there is disco, house and latin music.

Very loud club!

We visited a little nightclub/bar down right near the beach in Ksamil, it seemed very busy with people sitting around the edge drinking or people in the middle of the floor dancing. A nice place but one of the loudest places i have ever been....you cant hear anyone talking to you and the seem to be lots of teenage boys hanging around outside running down to the sea and messing about or scooters. anything goes, albanians seem to like very short skirts!

In Albania there is not so much interesting nightlife.Perhabs it is better to be near to your hotels.If you are lucky you can find a place with dancers.The music is not everyones favorite one! Normal dress.

Skytower: So much to choose from

Go out accompanied. Just to be more safe.Tirana is buzzing of a night time. There are many many bars and restaurants. Clubs are more expensive with some charging £100 just to sit at a table. For fantastic views of the lights of Tirana go to the Vodafone Skytower, the tallest building in Tirana. Again prices are only a fraction more that the ordinary cafes. The bar part at the top actually rotates! Smart casual.

Enver Hoxha's House

Enver Hoxha's house has actually been turned into an extremely swish bar and lounge. I'm not sure if there was also a restaurant there, but prices were a bit more pricey. It was very posh, kind of like a 'Country Living' front room.I'm sorry I've forgotten the address but I'm sure the locals will be able to point you in the right direction. Smart

Tirana and other big cities have developed a new cafe society,similar in atmosphere to that of southern Italy, and cafes stay open late ,especially in the summer.Young women in Tirana and the lowland cities are much freer than they used to be in the past . In Tirana discos are open from about 19 until 5 morning.Last years haas been build some new cinemas like cinema ´Millenium` and some other cinemas has been modernised.There has been a dramatic and very welcome improvement in the standard and variety of food in restaurandts and cafes in Tirana . A new culture of private restaurants is establishing itself ,with pizza bars and cheap Italian-style restaurants being particulary popular.
