This restaurant located some 50 meters from the Saranda's hotel Seiko, you could siting outdoor under big pine trees and enjoy sea view, you go to the kitchen and Taverna's chef Roza ,very nice woman and great cook, will show you the catch of the day ,and you choose. All, but mussels were excellent.
New restaurant that we occasionally get ,restaurant was opened before one month on 09.09,chef was worked in Italy ,and came back to open restaurant in Tirana. Very fresh octopus and prawns,good sol fish,and excellent rakija and home wine. It was our last evening in Albania and we were generous for our self We paid there 5000 leks for 6 dishes. Sol fish in wine sauce.
We took the break at this restaurant. It was nice, clean place. The garden was full of flowers and as the weather allowed it, we had our drinks outside. As it is situated very close to the Montenegrian-Albanian border, I found it very interesting to look around and enjoyed the first impressions of the country which although is at my "door steps", I was a first time in.
We decided to rest here by the lake. It has prooved to be good choice. We needed the toilets and I have to tell that they were very clean. I also had the coffee and juice. The coffee was just the way I like. Strong!Although the weather was bad, the lake shore, which is in front of the restaurant, was very nice. Little walk around helped to strech my legs before hading off.
Please help me and explain what is the name of this restaurant and state please its location in Tirana. Favorite Dish: I remember we ate beef with rostaed potatoes and salad with a glas of typical Albanian fresh wine with light bubbles. Fruits as a desert.
This trip we stayed in Durres, by the end of the holiday we were Fished out. So Much seafood, but so lovely. Most restaurants gave you a big plate of mussels on the house to eat while you are waiting for your meal. We always forgot this and ordered too much food. Always had a big plate of mixed seafood to share. Just love the Fish, so fresh and grilled to perfection. No sauces just plain grilled fish.
Although it looks like nothing special, just a normal restaurant with eating areas in and outdoors this place is the best. You can eat here cheaply and have the best food. All kinds of grilled meats and salads to gyros. Everything you could want and plenty of it in big plate fulls. The menu is also in english. They do take away too. Mixed grill (you need at least 3 people to be able to finish it.
This restaurant is mainly italian food and has a very nice atmosphere. I have visited here many times so would recommend it as we never had a bad meal here. You can choose to sit inside or outside under a covered area where they can shut off the sides if it rains and put the outdoor heaters on so it was nice and cosy on an evening in march when it was raining hard. We have pizza here which was huge with a choice of lots of toppings and we also had pasta dishes here. Also the menus here are in english as well which may help some people! pizza
Located just about a two minute walk down the road from theButrint Ruins its a nice place to sit and have a drink or lunch after all that walking! With two area's outside one for if your having a meal on one side of the gardens and the other just for drinks on the other side of the garden its nice and shady. Although watch for wasps! Looks like a recently built place with a very nice feel. All local food and drinks.
Up above the town of Saranda you have great views of the coast and also of Corfu. This is a really well done restaurant and bar with lots of different areas and different outside bars. In the evening there was live music being played, it was just starting to get busy when we were there about 7.30/8. We only drunk here again but had a look at the menu and have quite a choice. If the food is as good as the place looks im sure its great!
