This is one of my favorite places that we ate in Tirana. Lovely fresh and traditional dishes. You can either sit inside or sit in the little candle lit court yard at the front. Lots of locals seem to eat here and it was busy every time we visited. The fresh meat and salads.
Set on the main promenade in Saranda with a lovely large roof terrace overlooking the sea. We went here twice each night there was live music playing and people getting up and dancing. It was very busy with all the albanians on holiday here. It has a nice outdoor pizza oven making proper pizza's. You can also order take any food from here. very large pizza's!
This is quite a posh place to have something to eat or just sit in the garden and have a drink. There is a childrens play area in the gardens. Set back from the madness of the city centre in a nice quiet setting. Pizza, also has traditional food.Here three of us ate: three pizza's, one soft drink and two beers for 3000 Lek (£15 sterling OR $30 USD)
It's a copy of McDonalds really. Burgers and chips, pizza and ice creams. Seemed quite busy with young locals and adults with children. Dont think i would be visiting again! You can get local fast food cheaper and alot nicer! Pizza was better than the burgers.
You can get the best pancakes here....not sure on the name but will explain where it is in a minute. You can eat in or take out and they are just so cheap. With what ever filing you want from cheese and ham to chocolate and bananna, what ever you want they have it. Chocolate and nuts is good!
We ate here one lunch time as we were driving through Himarë. It was a nice little place, you could sit inside or just across the little road at there outdoor setting looking over the beach. We all had pasta here as the said they only do pizza in the evenings not day time. They also do some greek food. pasta
Set on the side of the lake in Tirana its a nice place for a relaxing drink. With park land all around you can go for a nice walk like everyone else seems to do in their best clothes in the evening. beers and coffee
Very grand building on the side of the road near to Fier! Nice gardens to the back and roof terraces on different leaves. Also has somewhere for kids to play. Nice drinks here, not sure if they serve food.
Syri i Kalter is inland from Saranda. In english it means blue eye, you have to pay to visit as it is a local attraction but i think it is worth a visit. The restaurant is set in the grounds surrounded by a fast flowing VERY cold river, set under trees it is lovely to sit here on a boiling hot day. We only had a drink here but the food that we saw people looked good and fresh. Looked like fresh meat and salads here. Also ice creams, beers and soft drinks.
This is a coffee place and bar. In the evenings in the summer it will be packed with the locals, mainly youngsters having a coffee or a beer with friends. You can sit on the roof of the castle and watch everyone going for their evening walk down the main street. coffee, beer or the local water (uji) Tepelene. i also liked ivi limon
