EL CAU: EL CAU - friendly staff, good atmosphere, Arinsal

Malyshok Says:  El cau is a very small bar though as everything in Arinsal. And it's as friendly as everybody in this place. I can’t explain why it attracts me so much – I think cause of its atmosphere. Nothing original in decoration of it u won’t find: just a bar along 2 of the walls and...

Health & Ski Insurance, Arinsal

orlikins Says:  For Europeans, the E111 is _not_ valid in Andorra. You are not allowed on Arinsal ski-school slopes without health/ski insurance. However the fee for this should be covered in the tuition fees. However the health care and hospital systems are absolutely excellent

El Tarter resort just screams 'Gaudy tourist spot' to me. All fur coat & no knickers.

Between the skiing season and summer walks & hikes seaon, Arinsal is basically dead. Some of the bars close down.

Arinsal skiresort isnt as well known as the likes of Gstaad, St Moritz or Kitzbuehel, so I think Arinsal itself is as off the beaten path as you can get. You can explore the rest of the parish (called La Massana) if you want to take a break from skiing.
