The Val d'Incles goes off from the main road between Soldeu and El Tartar and is a great place to start a walking holiday in the Soldeu area.
There are a small number of picturesque and attractive houses dotted along the end of the valley cloest to the road and a cafe near the main road itself.
Getting to the valley from Soldeu does involve a less than pleasant walk along the main road and this is mainly without the benefit of pavements. Once you reach the valley you will see it is worth it!
As you make the journey along the valley you feel more and more remote and away from the world. There are a number of mountain horses which are likely to come and try to share your packed lunch so watch out!
The walk along the main part of the valley is easy going and for the most part it is flat. Further along you start to make more of a climb up towards the Font de Trevenc. It was well worth the effort of hiking up here for the views and the peace and quiet (not to mention the sense of satisfaction) and you can go further upwards still. I didn't feel quite confident and fit enough to do so but I'm told it is better the further along the path you go.

There is a hotel called AHotels Hotel Piolets Park & Spa in Soldeu and it has great spa facilities. After a days walking or biking it is a great place to go and relax and unwind.
They charge about £6 each to use their swimming pools, steam room, sauna, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi - and you don't even have to take your own towel, they provide them.
Lovely hotel, beautiful facilities

Address: Main road through Soldeu
There is an excellent stables and riding school in Soldeu called the Centre D'Equitacio Calbo.
The horses are in lovely condition and the guides will take you down the mountain, along the river bank and up through forests. I'd recommend this company. The staff there also speak many languages.
I can't remember the prices, but it was certainly cheaper than the equivalent in the UK.
You can also go Quad Biking here as well.

Travelled to Pas de la Casa to go sledging.
Excellent fun, especially the ramp that was built.
Glad we didn't stop there, bit of a concrete monstrosity.
