Andorra offers a surprising array of things to do for such a small country. Of course, it is famous for its winter skiing, trout fishing, summer mountain hiking, and high end shopping. It also has a fairly decent cultural life, with several good, if small, museums, and a pretty good concert series in summer. Beyond these things, worth a visit is the Casa de Vall, the Andorran parliament, located in Andorra La Vella's Barri Antic, or Old Town. Once the home of an Andorran aristocrat, it was given to the Andorran people in the early 1700s and became their parliament building. Also nearby is the Church of St. Stephen, the main Roman Catholic church in this overwhelmingly Roman Catholic country. The church is by no means spectacular when compared to the main churches in several of the other European mini-states, but it is well worth a look, combining fairly seemlessly its original romanesque...
