    Millstätterse Watertaxi

by Roeffie Written Jan 10, 2008

A nice way to visit this lake and surrounding towns is to go by watertaxi and hop on and off at every town you want to visit.

Lake Millstätter See, situated at an altitude of 588 m and with a depth of 142 m, is not only the deepest but also one of the warmest bathing lakes in Carinthia. The 12 km long and up to 2 km wide lake invites you to take wonderful walks along its shores. On its sunny northern shore, the church of Stift Millstatt is a cultural highlight. You can get on or off the boats at nine landing stages around the lake.

    The boat trips stop at
Millstatt, Seeboden Pichler and Steiner, Pesenthein, Dellach, Döbriach Cerny and Glanz, Laggerhof, Grossegg

This is free of charge when using a Kärtnercard see Kärntercard website
