Kurpark in Baden
Baden bei Wien is a garden city. In particular,the historical spa gardens and the Doblhoff Park with its rosary consisting of literally thousands of roses provide a tranquil and profoundly relaxing environment. Here, nature and the man-made blend. Without regard guests stroll through the cultivated park landscapes on to any number of the many comfortable hiking trails. There is a sheer immensity to the scope of natural and historical treasures extending from the castle ruins in the Helenental to Mayerling, the former hunting lodge of the Crown Prince Rudolf (today a Carmelite nunnery) and the serenely beautiful medieval convent of Heiligenkreuz.

The Summer arena in Baden near Vienna in the spa garden 'Kurpark'.
In summer, the concerts in the spa gardens and the operetta festival in the Sommer Arena, the winter season in the Municipal Theatre of Baden, alternative art and youth culture in the 'Theater am Steg', and show events in the Congress Casino Baden - there is always something happening in Baden.
